The dam Rocksina jumped internationally to 1.60m level with Marie Longem NOR and Cameron Hanley IRL with wins in Falsterbo 5*, Salzburg 4* and Verona 5*. The dam is also half sister to Wally (1.50m) and Alpha VDL (1.50m). While the grand dam of Rocksina also produced Colorado (1.60m).
The sire Douglas, a son of the great Darco, had an unfortunate career ending injury before he reached the top of the sport. This was not before he had the chance to show his exceptional jumping ability. He spent his younger years in Ireland where he was crowned National 4 Year Old Champion and 2 years later was reserve 6 Year Old Champion. Connor Swail continued his career up to 1.50m level where he showed great scope and ability. Douglas’s offspring have continued his success within the sport with Sumas Zorro winning the richest Grand Prix in the world at Spruce Meadows, Dougie Douglas winning the Nations Cup and the Grand Prix of Odense and Dassler who won the puissance in Liverpool and the 6 bar in St Lo.
